This policy outlines our flexible working arrangements, including our office-first approach and the reasons we find in-person collaboration to be more effective. Our approach to remote/in person is:
Core Office Days for Team Collaboration (Tuesday to Thursday)🤝
To ensure effective teamwork and maintain our strong company culture, we prioritize in-person collaboration during core office days. By having all team members present in the office from Tuesday to Thursday minimum, we can capitalize on face-to-face interactions, brainstorming sessions, and seamless communication, which ultimately leads to increased productivity and innovation.
- Flexible Mondays and Fridays: On Mondays and Fridays, employees have the option to work remotely or adjust their working hours, subject to managerial approval. This flexibility allows you to manage personal responsibilities and appointments while ensuring that work objectives are met.
- Case-by-Case Adjusted Work Hours: At Vitrue, we appreciate that individual circumstances may require additional flexibility. With your manager's prior approval, you can adjust your working hours to accommodate personal needs or life events. We promote open communication between employees and managers to ensure these adjustments are mutually beneficial and do not impact team operations or project deadlines.
- Remote Work Considerations: While we prioritize our office-first approach, we understand that there may be circumstances where remote work is necessary or beneficial. If you have a plumber coming or another need to be home, please discuss your remote work needs with your manager.
- If you need to be somewhere else during Core Hours (e.g. you have a medical appointment), please make your team aware. If you are struggling with working arrangements and need more flexibility, please speak to your manager.
Why Office-First💭
We value in-person interactions for several reasons:
- Enhanced Collaboration: Being physically present in the office promotes spontaneous conversations, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving opportunities that can be difficult to replicate in remote settings.

It comes down to the fact that our mission at Vitrue is an extremely challenging one. We believe that the advantages of in person working make us more likely to achieve that mission!
